While everything may look set for The Vampire Diaries' premiere in the fall, one of its stars may need to head over from Mystic Falls to Hawaii to revisit an old show.
Ian Somerhalder, who plays evil vampire brother Damon Salvatore on the upcoming CW series, tells TV Guide that there's a "large or decent" chance that he'll be back on the ABC series Lost for its final season. He starred on the hit sci-fi series' debut season as Boone Carlyle, stepbrother of Maggie Grace's Shannon Rutherford, who is also rumored to be making a return.
While we have a long way to go before The Vampire Diaries premieres on the CW, perhaps it's safe to say that fans of vampire-themed franchises can't wait to sink their teeth into the upcoming series; and debating whether you'll really like it or not is moot at this point since no one has really seen the show.
Perhaps to assuage the thirst of fans, however, the CW has released an extended trailer - more than five minutes long - giving potential Vampire Diaries viewers a chance to take a longer look at the highly anticipated series.
It's time to mark your calendars, because the CW has announced the premiere dates for its fall shows. As they did last season, the CW is bringing out most of its shows earlier than the other networks to try and earn some loyal viewers before they get a chance to see everything else.
The big news is that the CW has decided to switch its Monday shows, so now One Tree Hill will air at 8pm and Gossip Girl is being pushed back to 9pm. The news is great for Gossip Girl, as now it's not up against House and Heroes., but instead against Lie to Me and the new drama Trauma.
For those of you who don't know, Peter has recently accepted a bet with a friend of his named Rob, from development company 211me-Inc.com. Rob bet that Peter couldn't get 500000 followers in a week. While we haven’t managed to identify any more tracks from the Vampire Diaries trailers just yet, thanks to Vidiot’s Vampire Diaries page, we have been able to listen to the isolated music track on the extended trailer and get a better idea of the lyrics.
