  VIDEO: Lee DeWyze Wins American Idol!�

  In what many considered an upset, Lee DeWyze won the ninth season of American Idol on Wednesday night, beating out folk singer Crystal Bowersox in a night filled with star-studded performances and tearful goodbyes for departing judge Simon Cowell.

  “This is amazing…I’ve never been happier in my life,” said a shocked DeWyze who was close to tears upon hearing the announcement.  After all, it was a tight race leading up to the finals, with only two percent of America voting for DeWyze over Bowersox.

Brittany Murphy died reportedly of cardiac arrest at the age of 32 on December 20, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. Five months after the shocking death of Murphy, Monjack was found dead in the same Los Angeles house.   As an update to the tragic death of Brittany Murphy, the Los Angeles Coroner’s office has released Murphy’s death certificate. Although it is assumed that Brittany’s cause of death was cardiac arrest, the death certificate lists “deferred.” The manner of death is listed as “pending investigation.”

  Heather Locklear Cleared In Hit-And-Run Case�

  Heather Locklear is off the hook for an April hit-and-run incident in Ventura County, Calif., authorities confirmed to Access Hollywood.
  
  “Insufficient evidence exists to establish who the driver of the vehicle was at the time of the collision. As a result, no criminal charges will be filed,” Ventura District Attorney Gregory D. Totten Totten said in a statement to Access.
